Score Sunday- A Distant Planet...

So I am still doing my score list when I visited Texas last week.  I saw this last time and didn't get it.  I had to this time.  Only 10 bucks...

Yeah it's an Aquarium display.  I know....But it looks great!  It immediately reminded me of another planet.  Something in Star Trek....Oh yeah...

Score Saturday- This is not my idea of cozy...

I was surfing the old internet last year and ran across these....

Oh my God...They have Batman!

And Superman too!  WHOA!  So I have seen these in Spencer's in the mall in Texas.  I decided to visit Spencer's not expecting anything but there they were again...And with a %50 off sale they were beckoning me!  I MUST have one.  I was imagining all kinds of cool warmth on a cold chilly night...

So I found Batman and the Joker...We also got a Nightmare Before christmas one....But wait something is amiss...

That is right...They ARE NOT COZY AT ALL!!!!  What the hell?  They do not come with a back to it!!!

I was imagining sweet bliss being able to slip this over my head and sit on the couch watching my movies all day long with drool coming down!!!  Now if I want to go to get a beer out of the fridge I gotta take this thing off.  Because you cannot walk with it!  It starts to slide off your front.  But being the CRAFTY individual I am, I am going to fix them.  YES....It might take awhile but I will repair them with a local Mexican sewing lady and put a back on them.  I gotta tell you though...I am really disappointed in them.  Especially since you guys had to see my zit covered back.  It's not steroids I swear...

 

 

 

Freaky Friday- Texas Monster Cafe scores...

Oh yeah.  We got some pretty good stuff this trip.  Here is one...

I got the Diamond Select Metaluna Mutant!  He was just sitting there in Toys R Us beckoning me....He was $16....Later we went to the comic shop and they had the Phantom of the opera...But the guy marked it up to $22!  Arghh....So I didn't get him....Another thing we scored on was....

Check out this puppy!  $5!  50% marked down at Walmart!  WHOA!  It is great.  It is only water that mists and changes colors.  I should have bought all of them at that price but I didn't.  Later wifey said it would have been a good thing to sell in the cafe.  Oh well....It could substitute for something Dr. Strange discovers....The mystic pond of infinity or something like that.

More DVD movie love I got!

Oh yeah! The DVD gods were shining on me on this latest trip to Laredo...

Finally completed my James Bond collection.  I had bought individual movies in Mexico and HAD to wait to find the rest of them instead of getting the boxed sets...

I have avoided buying this Christmas gem for so long.    Ok here is a rant...WHY are all Christmas movies sold this time of year that one can find but NEVER Emmett Otter's jugband christmas is on shelves?  I know my sentence sucks but really.  I need that movie!

Oh yeah!  Finally have all of the F13 movies except 9.  I will not buy it.  It sullies the name.

I had this one once....Played it at the cafe.  One of my waiters ran off with it which is why I check them throughly before they leave now.

LOVED the first two movies.  Hope the last one is just as good.

I left a few good ones there too.  Maybe Reis could let me know if the Dukes Of Hazzard reunion movies were any good.

 

 

 

Been in Texas the past few days!

Made some scores...Will be here to blog about it on.....Possibly friday!  Yippee!  But for now I can tell you what I picked up on DVD!

So you could say I got alot of TV show on DVD love.  I cannot wait to watch them.  Since we do not have American TV here in MExico....Well you know.

 

Score Sunday- All along the Watchtower...

Yeah it is Sunday so I gotta talk about something.  So sad Kal is quitting blogging...Hope he comes back.  But here we are....I got this the last time I was in Texas.  I have been turned on by these for some time and want to add more to the collection.  What am I talking about?

The World peacekeepers Watchtower!  Comes with three soldiers the same size as GI Joe!  I do like the WT, but I prefer the GI Joe one better...

Mostly because of the sandbags across the top of them.  But....

The gun on the World peacekeepers one is FAR better!  Look at that thing!  They could shoot down the Hulk if I had him.

Score Saturday-Lava Men shows up with friends!

Remember the last time I got one of those Max Steel lava guys?  No?  Oh well....Wifey had a great idea to just get three more Happy meals at the same time!  I was in McDonaldland heaven!

Whooo!  Got 4 of them total!  Remember I army build but stop at 4.  Anything else is just showin off.  I love them!

Oh no!  Moleman has sent them to attack SHIELD!  Will Captain Rogers be able to stem the tide?
