HORIZON MUMMY!

Yes...Come to me!
Here I am trying to look like the Mummy and failing miserably.  Ray has to make a base.  I wanted some newer things in my Mummy base.  Let's see how he did.
WOW! Just to let you all know...Those paintings on those walls are HAND painted.  Nothing store bought in this base.
He also used REAL SAND in the base!  WOW.  Look at that!
The pillars are made of wood.
Boris never looked better.
Well..that is the last of the models from Thailand.  There are no more monsters.  So from what I can tell...I am missing

Horizon Wolfman, Bride of Frankenstein, Phantom of the Opera, and the Invisible Man.

BUT they cost too darn much to probably ever acquire. So this will be the last of the monster model kits for awhile.  The Monster Cafe display case is getting pretty full anyways.

So....This is going to be my last project for awhile.  We have some credit card debt that must be paid.  So...not much coming from the blog for awhile.  Maybe a year or so.  It is sad for me but until my ship comes in it is the way it has to be .

Gracias to all who have supported me.  I thank you!  I will pop up from time to time.  I could just post pics from Google like some bloggers but that is not what this blog is about.

VIEWMASTER!

Yup...I had NO idea they still made these awesome toys from my childhood.  We made a trip to Laredo Texas last month and this was just sitting on the shelf begging me to take it home.  It came with 2 discs of animals from Africa.  I love it.
LOVE having this childhood thing again.  I gotta track down Pete's Dragon to view.  That and the Superfriends were about the only ones I can remember having.
So cool.  I gotta build a shelf for nostalgia one day

HORIZON FRANKENSTEIN!

Yes...I am continuing with my Thailand Horizon obsession.  I already did Dracula and the Creature from the Black Lagoon...Now comes Frankenstein!

Keep in mind that Horizon only made the figure.  Never the bases.  So Ray has to scratch build one.  How did he do?
I wanted him in a dungeon standing in front of a door.  WOW!
 My frank is green baby!
I also wanted bars on a window by him.
All in all a great job.  Very happy.

GOLIATH TO THE RESCUE!

I gotta tell you I LOVE taking these army 12 inch guys and transforming them into something more useful than a naked Gi Joe guy. Of course I would never turn a vintage GI Joe into one...These are cheapo World peacekeepers.  But the one I feature today is a Max Steel throwaway...

Uh oh!  Through some nefarious magical trickery Iron Man's old foe the Mandarin is now a giant!  HE wants to do away with our intrepid hero.  What will ole Shellhead do?
Quickly the Mandarin his Iron Man in his grip.  Trying to crush the life out of Tony Stark.  Will help arrive soon?
Clint Barton AKA Goliath comes out of nowhere and plows into Mandarin!
He starts beating the fortune cookies outta him!
Mandarin is so startled by the attack he cannot use his deadly rings of power.
Goliath and IronMan celebrate victory!

I love this figure.  I think it is my favorite Ray has done .  So cool to have a seventies era Goliath.
