1976 MARVEL TIES!

In 1976 I had a Superhero Catalog.  I loved the thing and hopefully one day will acquire one again.  I loved all the comic book stuff you could get in it.

The ties were so cool.  Even though I was 4 years old I wanted them...Well I put Rosy to work and bingo!

Here is one.  What shall I put on it?

 I decided to go with the original three.  Dr. Strange

 Shang Chi baby!

Human Torch rounded it out.

I did my best to find the right images to make from the ad.  I succeded in my opinion.  Now...when shall I wear them is the thing?

CUSTOM WWF THUMBTACKS

Whenever Mick Foley brought out the thumbtacks...It always made his matches that much more exciting.

Ray went to work.  I don´t think he understood the thumbtack thing.  He brought me two times not quite what I imagined.  So.....

I found some screws in home depot.  They would have to suffice.

 Oh no!  Mankind has brought out a bag!

 It´s thumbtacks!

 He is going to slam HHH into them!

SEINFELD FUSILLI JERRY!

I am a huge fan of the show.  Have most episodes memorized.  I had already done a tshirt so had to do something else to stick on my shelf.

 What is the deal?  Um why Fusilli?  Because your silly!

Ray did an awesome job on this badboy.  I even had him include the Seinfeld logo on the bottom.

SEVENTIES ROCK CONCERT!

Oh yeah!  My brother Ian had one of these back in the day.  Unfortunatly there was a mixup in communication and Ray made it REALLY small.

 I loved this thing as a kid in the seventies.  It is amazing what one remembers.

THE FIRE IS BACK IN GODZILLA!

Remember I had purchased that 1977 Mattel Godzilla from my youth?  No?  Well  I did.  But the lever and the tongue were gone.  It was an incomplete Godzooka...I delayed alot in making this.  I was busy doing wrestling stuff.

So Ray went to work and what he did was amazing!

 He even has the tongue stick out a little bit.  He had to open up the head and really get inside it.

 I decided to have the handle be black to differente between an original and mine instead of the traditonal red.

Push the lever down and whammo!  Vinyl fire once again.  SO happy to have this gem restored.

REPAIRED CANTINA BAND MEMBER

Remember the broken toy lot I received?  No?  Well this pic is a refresher.

Well I started to repair them with the help of RAY.  See the Cantina band member at the bottom?  He aint got no legs.  That is right.  All he is is the waist up.  Lt. Dan had no legs either...
Since Ray is amazing but really cannot mold new legs I came up with something else.

 Now he is ready to play the Cantina blues.  Boy was I wrong! He did mold new legs in a sitting position!

So cool.  Now I just gotta get the other band members someday.

CUSTOM WWF BARBED WIRE BOARDS

I had to do some of these cool boards that wrestlers use in hardcore matches.  Because lets face it.  Playing hardcore is so much fun.

So I had to do 2.

 oh man!  SO COOL!

Just a side note...God I hate Jakks wrestling figures.  The Mattel Basics arent that much better mind you.  It is just Elite cost so frickin much.
